Heavy development

Just publicly announcing that the latest version of WP Framework is still in heavy development and won’t be ready for the public until further notice. I’ll keep you guys informed once things become finalized, but in the meantime, there are plenty of great alternatives.

Been working on the renovation of my personal site, going to upgrade from a regular static site to an all wordpress site. I’m using WP Framework 0.2.4.10 and noticed that in IE 7 when you set a height or a width to something it makes that element behave as a text box, site the text cursor shows up. So I remade my site using Sandbox and had the same issue. With Sandbox though I was able to fix this IE 7 issue by floating the wrapper left and making the width and height 100%. It appears that if you do give an element a fixed width then you must float it either left or right in order for it to behave as normal and not show the text cursor every time you hover over the entire div.

I just wanted to point this out so maybe you can consider putting a wrapper around everything. Took me almost all day to figure this thing out.

If you need testers for the new version let me know, I’ll give it a go.

I found wp-framework and was disappointed to see that the docs don’t match the version that can be downloaded. It seems like you’re on the right direction–from reading the docs and your blog I’m much more interested in wp-framework than the other frameworks I’ve looked at. Is there anyway I can help? I can assist with writing/updating documentation, coding or testing. Looking forward to seeing the next release!

September 2009 – May 2010 and no minimal release or sneak preview to play with?

I hate to say it but is looks like this boat is dead in the water… would be a shame though.
